Our Demos

We record and produce vocal tracks and instrument tracks; below are examples of each.

WHAT’S UP

LIKE A PRAYER
‘Like a Prayer’ by Madonna, performed by Jenny Prince. We recorded and produced the lead vocal track, and mixed it with the backing track Jenny had bought online.

VALERIE

Backing Tracks

If you're the lead singer in a band, your backing track IS the band. But if you're a solo singer and you don't have a backing group, you can either have custom backing tracks made for you, or they can be bought ready-made online.

There are loads of websites selling backing tracks, but the style and quality of arrangements and production varies between each, so it's best to hunt around to find the sound you're looking for.

The backing tracks you buy online are not usually performed by the original artists, and are often different arrangements to those you're familiar with. Many, but not all, include backing vocals and they're also available in several different keys - so be sure to choose the version that's right for you.

Before buying a backing track please check that the terms & conditions allow you to use it in the way you want (e.g. licensed for demo use, commercial public performance vs. personal use etc). If you're not sure, contact us and if necessary we will talk to the backing track provider for you.
